BEAVER CHALLENGE 2018 and Sleepover in The Den.

The County Beaver challenge is taking part on the 24th of march followed by a sleepover in our scout den.  Parents are asked to drop the beavers at the venue in Killinthomas Woods, Rathangan Co Kildare at 9.30am. Parents can collect from the same venue at 4 pm and drop them back to the Kilcock scout hall for a sleepover.

The cost is €10 each.

Unfortunately the Beaver Cycle had to be postponed to allow Kilcock to partake in the county beaver challenge. We will hold the Cycle in April instead.

This year’s bases are:

• Camping
• Backwoods
• Pioneering
• Orienteering
• First Aid
• Fun base, team building.

What you should have with you (The sleepover and day bags should be kept separate):

Day Bag For Beaver Challenge:

• Jacket/ Rain Gear
• Drinks
• Packed Lunch
• Compass

Night Bag For Sleepover:

• Sleeping Bag / Roll Mat /Pillow.
• 2 Changes of Clothes
• Warm Jacket / Hat etc. (We may be outside in evening).
• PJs
• Wash Gear
• Cup/Plate/Bowel and Eating Utensils.
