Kayaking Day

16th Kilcock Kayaking Day.

Sunday 29th April:

There will be one hour kayaking sessions for all sections on the canal. Each section should arrive 30 minutes before their allotted time so that they are ready to get on the water.

• Beavers 10am-11am
• Cubs 1: 11am -12 pm
• Cubs 2: 12pm -1 pm
• Ventuers 1pm to 2pm
• Scouts 1: 2pm to 3pm
• Scouts 2: 3pm – 4pm

What to Bring:

• Wetsuit (if you have one).
• Shorts/Tea Shirts /Fleece (if you don’t).
• A light rain jacket.
• Old runners or booties for feet. (footwear must be warn as there may be sharp objects under water).
• Warm clothes and towel top change into immediately after session.

The aim of the day is to introduce the scouts to kayaking and to achieve their level 1 kayaking badge.

For cubs their session will also be part of the Cubs – Just Add Water national water sports days and anybody taking part will get a just add water badge.
